Plain-English meanings for Finipher terms you will see in the app.
Use this page when a label in the workbench is new.
Account and access
Account: Your finipher.com login for billing, license, downloads, and every Finipher app.
Guest: Desktop Local Mode only. Explore without signing in. It does not activate a paid license. The web app does not offer Guest.
License: Proof that your trial or plan is active on this device.
Organization: A Finipher service your workplace runs. That organization can open documents sent there.
Where files are read
Local Mode: Local Model (On this device). Documents and the Finipher engine stay on this computer.
Finipher Private Cloud: Finipher’s private reading service. Files stay staged until Process Documents.
Process Documents: The step that starts reading. Until you click it, dropped files stay on the device.
Job: A batch in the processing rail. Local jobs can pause. Cloud jobs follow the server queue.
Workspaces
Personal: Your own household-finance workbench.
Small Business: A separate workspace for one business. Invoices and personal statements do not mix.
Household: Two adults on Personal Pro, each with their own login. Together / A / B are lenses, not a shared inbox.
Tax packet: A collector that builds a ZIP of original forms plus a cover sheet for your preparer.
Workbench
Dashboard: The first summary for the date range in the toolbar.
Needs you first: Findings inside the selected date range.
Actions: One work page — Inbox (fees and due items), Recurring (charges vs their own history), and All findings. Handle, Snooze, mark Expected, or Remind.
Recurring: The Actions view for charges compared to their own history. Older Help articles called this Leaks.
All findings: The Actions view behind Needs you first. Older Help articles called this Review items.
Ask: Plain-language questions over processed documents, with source pages.
Source: The statement page Finipher used for a number.
Phone
This phone on its own: Full Mode. The phone sends files after Process documents.
Alongside my computer: Companion Mode. The computer reads. The phone shows findings and can hold a sealed file for the Mac.
