Process documents
Start the batch so Dashboard, Spending, Tax packet, Search, and Ask can use the files.
Process Documents is the moment Finipher starts reading. Until then, dropped files stay on this device — including on Finipher Private Cloud.
Steps
- Go to Documents.
- Confirm the files you want in this batch.
- Click Process Documents.
- Watch the jobs rail.
- Open Dashboard when the job finishes.
Local Mode
Processing runs on this computer. You can pause or stop a local job.
Private Cloud and organization
The click sends the staged batch and creates a job. Status follows the cloud queue. Pause and Stop are not available. A busy service can take minutes.
Phone Full Mode
The button reads Process N documents. Files stay on the phone until that tap.
Beta
Numbers can be wrong. Check the statement page before you rely on a result.
You'll know it worked when
The document status shows ready or complete, and Dashboard, Search, and Ask can use the statement.
If this doesn't work
Use Fix: setup stuck for Local Mode engine issues. Use Fix: empty dashboard if processing finishes but results look blank.
