What you need

Account, files, and device checklist before you process the first statement.

Use this checklist before you upload anything sensitive.

Everyone needs

  1. One email you will keep for billing, the web app, desktop, and phone.
  2. A recent statement as a PDF when you can. Photos and CSV files also work.
  3. Time for the first process. A cloud queue can take a few minutes under load. A local model download takes longer the first time.

If you use the web app or Private Cloud

A current browser and a signed-in trial or plan are enough. You do not install a local model.

If you use Local Mode on a Mac

  1. Apple Silicon is the main download. If Downloads also shows Intel, use that on an Intel Mac.
  2. Keep at least 8 GB RAM for a small model, 16 GB for the recommended model.
  3. Keep at least 10 GB free disk space for the app, engine, model, and your data.

If you use Local Mode on Windows

  1. Windows 10 or newer, 64-bit.
  2. The same RAM and disk guidance as Mac.
  3. Download the installer from finipher.com while signed in. Windows SmartScreen may warn on the current unsigned beta. Only continue if you started the download from your Finipher Downloads page.

If you use the phone

iOS or Android with the Finipher app. Full Mode needs a network connection to Private Cloud or your organization. Companion Mode needs the computer nearby the first time you pair.

You'll know it worked when

You can sign in, see an active or trialing plan, and add one file without a disk-space or license warning.

If this doesn't work

Free disk space before Local Mode setup. For download problems, use Fix: cannot download.
